
Technical requirements:
1. Materials and Accessories
(1) The window frame adopts a steel frame or wooden frame with a certain strength to ensure the integrity and stability of the components.
(2) Galvanized steel sheet or stainless steel sheet can be used for the steel frame and pressure strip. The selection criteria comply with the provisions of Article 5.1 of GB12955 "General Technical Conditions for Steel Fire Doors".
(3) The material selection standards for wooden frames and pressure strips should comply with the provisions of Article 5.1.1 of GB14101 "General Technical Conditions for Wooden Fire Doors".
(4) The filling material inside steel and wooden frames should be non combustible.
(5) Fireproof glass can be selected from products that do not affect the fire resistance performance test of steel windows. The transparency of glass should not be less than 75% of ordinary flat glass with the same number of layers.
(6) The sealing material between the frame and the fire-resistant glass should be made of flame-retardant materials, which can play a role in preventing fire and smoke during a fire.
(7) Hardware accessories should be standardized matching products that have been tested and approved.
2、 Installation requirements:
1. When accepting the goods received by Party A, Party A shall carefully check whether the quantity, specifications, grades, and various accessories are qualified and complete according to the supply contract.
2. Steel windows should be stored vertically indoors and protected against corrosion. Glass should be placed and supported on objects that do not damage the edges or surfaces of the glass.
3. Installation
(1) Steel windows must be inspected before installation. If the window frame or sash is warped, deformed, or the glass is damaged due to improper transportation and storage, it should be repaired before installation.
(2) When installing steel windows, it is necessary to use a level ruler to level or use a hanging line method to correct the verticality of the front, back, left, and right sides, ensuring that they are horizontal, vertical, and of the same height.
(3) The window frame must be integrated with the building and connected to the wall using wooden or iron components. After the installation of the steel window frame, cement mortar must be poured between the window frame and the wall, and cured for more than 24 hours before it can be used normally.
(4) The position of the installation holes for hardware accessories should be accurate, so that the hardware accessories can be installed smoothly and firmly, meeting the requirements for use.
(5) When installing fire-resistant glass, make sure to leave even gaps on all four sides. After positioning, fill the gaps with fire-resistant cotton and seal the edges.
(6) In addition to the above requirements, installation should be carried out in accordance with the "Engineering Construction and Acceptance Specification".
